STATE & REGIONAL DIRECTOR PROGRAM
The USTSF State & Regional Director Program was initiated in January 2008. The broad goal of the program is to provide an infrastructure for communication and growth for the sport of table soccer across the United States.
 
There are currently 32 states represented in the USTSF State Director Program.  Ideally, all 50 states will be represented by the end of 2009.  The current list appears at the end of this newsletter. If there are states in your region that do not yet have a director, please help find volunteers for those slots.
 
TERRI SERATE NAMED DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL YOUTH PROGRAM
California Co-Director Terri Serate has accepted the position of the Director of the USTSF National Youth Program. Terri is currently developing a model program for young foosers in the Los Angeles area.

MARK WINKER NAMED DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS PROGRAM
Mark Winker, Regional Director for Region X (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi), has accepted the position of Director of the USTSF National State Championships Program. The goal of this program is simple: to have a 2009 USTSF State Championship take place in every state!
 
Mark’s business, www.netfoos.com, is ready to help you organize and run your state championship this year.  To start planning your state championship, please email Mark at mwinker@netfoos.com to check on available dates.
 
Complete details on materials available to you and requirements for USTSF sanctioning of your state championship will be available by early February.
 
USTSF PLAYER POINTS SYSTEM UPDATE
USTSF Treasurer and Board Member, Ed Geer, is the new Chair of the USTSF Ratings and Rankings Committee.
 
Ed has recently submitted an updated points list to both VIFA and IFP for review.  It will be available soon so that players can purchase the appropriate package deals for upcoming tournaments.
 
ITSF WORLD CUP & WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS REPORT
